Here is the weather details for my overseas friends

Well this page has just had a website face lift. As I have pointed out in the past this page is organic; it is a living thing. As my knowledge increases it becomes the fertiliser for this page. So watch it grow.

I have many interests, I have had my own business which is called Dimmick Consultancy. 

One of the area's of interest I have is the Dimmick name and family tree. In the family tree area you will find my family tree as far as I know and information about the Dimmick Name. If you wish to add to my information in passing then please email me and let me know what it is that you wish to pass on or have posted. I will try to post as much as I can, but please be patient as I don't always have much time for my home page.

Family History has been a hobby for a number of years. It all started with a book which my father gave to me. It was written and published by my Great-great-great grandfather Charles Dimmick. The book covers the family from 1800 to the 1890's. It is a very good story of rags to riches to rags. I have spent many years finding out more details. One of the interesting challenges was to find out who Charles Dimmick's father was. In the whole book he never mentioned his name.

Another area of interest is time travel. Many people and scientists believe that this is an area of worthwhile study. The only thing is that it is disguised as some believe that it is a subject of stories and dreamers and not to be taken seriously. If you are interested in this field then try and look under the subject of "closed time like curves". It won't be the type of information that you read in the science fictions stories but it is an area of theoretical physics.
